About Toni
Toni Kornegay Vaughn is a woman of faith, family, and service. Growing up in Alabama, she learned the value of helping others, showing compassion, and working hard no matter what obstacles stand in the way. Those lessons shaped everything she has done throughout her life.
Toni has spent years serving her community through volunteer work, mentoring youth, and supporting families who are trying to get ahead. She has been the person people call when they need advice, encouragement, or someone who will simply listen. Her life has been rooted in lifting others up, and she brings that same heart into her campaign for Alabama House.
As a working mother, she has experienced the struggles that many families in District 45 face. She knows what it is like to juggle childcare while trying to advance in her career. She knows the frustration of watching healthcare costs rise while families do everything they can to stay healthy. She understands the pressure parents feel when they want their children to get the best education possible but the resources simply are not there.
Toni is running because she believes that leadership should come from people who understand real life. People who know what it feels like to struggle, but also what it takes to overcome. She believes every voice in this district matters, and she is committed to being a representative who listens, responds, and leads with honesty.
